A warm welcome to a group visit at Villa Mairea!
The Visit
The guide will meet the group at the main entrance of Villa Mairea at the agreed time. Please allow sufficient time for travel, parking, and the walk from the parking area.
The visit to Villa Mairea lasts approximately one hour. The guided tour takes place in the rooms on the ground floor of the house. After the visit, guests may also stop by the museum shop. The surrounding grounds can be explored independently in connection with the tour.
Please note that Villa Mairea does not have waiting facilities. This is particularly important for large groups. Groups of more than 15 people will be guided consecutively; the second group must wait outside or participate in other pre-arranged activities, such as a pre-booked tour of the Ahlström Ironworks area.
Good to Know Before Your Visit
We are committed to preserving Villa Mairea and its original interior in all our operations. For this reason, the maximum group size for tours is limited to 15 persons.
Shoes are taken of in the entrance hall for the duration of the visit. Even small bags and outerwear are left in the cloakroom during the tour. Only a few chairs are available for visitor use.
Photography, video recording, and audio recording indoors are not allowed. The house and grounds are under camera surveillance.

Groups under 5 persons: 150 € / group
Accessibility
The walk from the parking area to Villa Mairea is 300 meters along a gravel road uphill. There are stairs both outdoors and indoors. The guided tour is conducted standing.

Cancellation Policy
A confirmed booking is binding.
By making a reservation, you accept the booking terms and our privacy policy.
The final number of participants for a group tour must be confirmed no later than 14 days before the visit. If two or more consecutive tours have been booked for a group, and the group size changes so that fewer or more tours are required, we must be informed one month before the visit.
A booked group tour may be cancelled free of charge up to 30 days before the scheduled date.
If a confirmed booking is cancelled:
- 15–29 days before: 30% of the total price will be charged
- 8–14 days before: 50% of the total price will be charged
- 1–7 days before: 100% of the total price will be charged
