About us
The purpose of the Villa Mairea Foundation is to preserve the cultural values of Villa Mairea, designed by Alvar and Aino Aalto, and to present the house to the public.
The Foundation owns the building’s collections, including works of art and furniture. In addition, the Foundation preserves the life’s work of Maire and Harry Gullichsen and maintains the related archives.
