Maire Gullichsen founded the Villa Mairea Foundation in 1980. For nearly 50 years, the Foundation has preserved the cultural values of Villa Mairea and presented the house to the public.
The Foundation preserves the life’s work of Maire and Harry Gullichsen. We own extensive collections and archives. The Foundation employs three permanent staff members as well as guides.
