Maire Gullichsen founded Villa Mairea Foundation in 1980. The aim of the foundation is to preserve the cultural values of Villa Mairea. Villa Mairea Foundation is in charge of the collections and archives in the house and it cherishes the legacy of the builders Maire and Harry Gullichsen. The foundation arranges guided tours inside the house
